Donny van Dyk is a pleasant young man. The young girls think he’s a hunk. The Skeena Liberals think he is going to do well and will present a new moncler jackets outlet youthful vision. They had a couple other choices in Marylin Davies and Steve Wilson before they decided on Mr. van Dyk. Davies was a Terrace City Councillor and spoke about van Dyk being cheap moncler jackets sale too young which lost her some cheap moncler points within the local Liberal association, along with some of her other controversial statements. Wilson displays an open arrogance moncler outlet uk that most Liberals keep in check, behind closed doors, or at moncler factory outlet least in their own private circles. Donny van Dyk was most clearly their best public image choice.
cheap moncler jackets The problem is he is running for a party that has no compassion or moral integrity. This problem begins where it always does in any business or organization, at the top, in the person of Gordon Campbell. moncler outlet store cheap moncler jackets
Campbell’s political career started in Vancouver when he was elected as Mayor. Shortly after, most of the top City planners resigned as Campbell ran roughshod over their plans to keep the high rise development off the foreshore and away from Stanley Park. Campbell’s former employer was Marathon Realty, a major developer and land owner. His first real move, even back then, was to reward his friends.
When Gordon Wilson brought the Liberal Party out of the dust bin and resurrected it to full Party status, Campbell’s close advisors went to work to take it over. This was the beginning of the big lie machine involving the Premiers own mouth and the BC media organizations; Pacific Press, Canwest Global, BCTV and Black Press. The mistruth’s half truths and outright lies got bigger and more outrageous as the years went by. Today most BC citizens cannot even begin to recount all of the Liberal broken promises and the mainstream media will not recall them for you.
The first big lie, and the one that started it all was, “I am Mayor of Vancouver, I intend to stay Mayor of Vancouver, I have no interest in the Liberal Party and I wish Gordon Wilson would keep me out of his family squabbles.” That was Campbell’s response to Wilsons charge that Campbell was attempting to take over the Liberal Party. The mainstream media went to work on Wilson https://www.moncleroutletsite.com too, claiming he was having an illicit love affair, cheating on his wife. They opened their news broadcasts every day with a new allegation.
Within a few short months, guess what? Campbell was leader of the Liberal Party.
Then the media went after the NDP Party. There was a never ending series of allegations that went on for months, years. Every TV news broadcast opened with Tony Parsons pursing his lips and frowning as he accentuated the “P” in ND PPPPPP, referring to Bingo gate and Hydro Gate. Harcourt finally resigned, had enough of the constant unwarranted attacks. Harcourt even hired a very right wing political man from Alberta who came and investigated only to find absolutely no wrong doing. The news gave that brief result a once over, never once repeating that their years of hounding and allegations were all without foundation. Then there was Glen Clark’s deck. The media just happened to show up, were waiting for the police to arrive. Funny how now we have ex top cops running for the Liberals. Ever wonder who tipped off the media? But then too, there were no legs to the conspiracy theory. The fast Ferries most people still believe were a fiasco. Who told us that, the Pro Campbell Media machine? These were built in BC, trained people in BC, the money paid circulated in BC; it was a financial benefit to all of us. The only part that gave trouble was the engines which were not built in BC. They were beautiful boats which were enjoyed by all that had the brief opportunity to ride them. The wake produced has always been a complaint by all Islanders and Oceanside residents regardless of who built the ferry. Selling these boats for less than the price of scrap metal and then contracting new boats out to a German Company, neglecting BC’s highly skilled workers was a political move that could be likened to treason had we an effective and unbiased media in BC.
cheap moncler outlet As soon as the Liberals got elected Pacific Press Global, The Province and Sun newspapers started cheap moncler outlet a new “Success” section in their papers. They started telling everyone how good things were in BC after years of telling everyone how terrible the NDP had things. The “fudge it budget” was repeated ad nauseam without any real journalist checking it out. Today we find that the NDP underestimated how good the finances were, however when Campbell lied and stated that it was worse than he thought, after he got to see the real books, his friendly media organizations just repeated his lie over and over. cheap moncler outlet

It is bullies and liars that run BC and the media are not about to raise the alarm. Money is tight and the ruling Government provide lots of dollars to them in full page newspaper and long TV ads. It is only a few independent journalists and strong individuals with moral integrity that expose the corruption of the Campbell regime.
Locally, here in Terrace, our own Bingo hall owner a Chances franchise an honest man, John Becher, explained to Sean Holman reporter for 24 Hours and publisher of the website Public Eye Online how he was told to donate to the BC Liberal party through a private name, not using his gaming facility. bingo halls and community gaming centres.

Holman, one of BC’s last real investigative Journalists has revealed more grime regarding this issue mucking up Pat Kinsella’s shirt many times and in particular the corruption regarding BC Rail and the private liquor store deals that benefit his friends. He reported HERE;
buy moncler jackets Patrick Kinsella attempted to arrange a meeting with British Columbia Lottery Corp. president and chief executive officer to about issues of mutual interest and concern four months after the last provincial election. In an email sent to then president and chief executive officer Vic Poleschuk on September 7, 2005, Mr. Kinsella wrote, have talked from time to time about getting together for coffee or lunch. With the legislature ready to resume next week and with it the political scrutiny that follows, I was hoping we could get together have great empathy for John Becher, however he is the honest man, a rarity among the axiom, “nice guys, that finish last”. John, you might refer to as, “honest to a fault”. The Liberals do not much take kindly to honesty. buy moncler jackets
Donny may be a nice guy too but the friends he associates with, his backers, do not play by the cheap moncler coats same rules as the rest of the public. Campbell, Kinsella moncler outlet online and the entire BC mainstream media have the entire Province of BC so confused, befuddled and bankrupt and financially that it would take a miracle to turn this train around. British Columbia is a wonderful case study to vindicate the theory of Noam Chomsky in MANUFACTURING CONSENT. If the media can be relied upon to pump out a political message, over and over again, that message will eventually become the world view of that media consumers, and they will willingly vote against their own best interests again and again.

You said bottom line is that Mr. Clark and the NDP government Failed to establish a BC Shipbuilding Industry and Failed to improve the BC Ferries service in southern BC. The result is hundreds and hundreds of millions of wasted public dollars. I don know if it you choice of words but we had a ship building industry before the NDP. It got an economic injection with the building of the fast ferries. THe NDP did not fail. If there was a failure and if the shipbuilding industry is now in trouble it is because of the liberals exporting those jobs and getting their new ferries from Europe. It is as simple as that.
moncler outlet online Im glad you have some experience with the pulp mill in Prince Rupert, Then you might know, or should that SCI went under because the owner used it as an asset to borrow money for operations elsewhere. It went under because of debt not created by moncler outlet unions. That notion is pure bunk. The government kept them operating and the workers working till the liberals took over, closed the mill and then tried to sell a non operating venture on the open market. Ever try selling a car that isn licensed and buyers can see it running? moncler outlet online
moncler outlet Also, if all there was to a solution for the Northwest Region was to put 350 million into some venture don you think the liberals would have done that already. That is a fix so simple for a now complex problem that won work. Hindsight is also 20:20 and you offer only some pollyanna notion of how easy it would be if only the money had been spent some other way intelligently Your comment that this was just to bail out the unions shows where you are coming from. Workers were not bailed out as in bailout of debt. The company was kept running after George Petty walked away from the operation l;eaving private contractors in debt. These moncler sale private contractors had no way of ever recovering if the plant closed as you suggest. moncler outlet
Finally you say this money was not for the communities. Who the hell do you think benefited from those workers wages? Where do workers pay their bills and buy stuff.
